Grace Kids

Grace Kids is an Early Childhood Development Centre founded by The Grace Trust, that launched in January 2025. This heartfelt initiative was made possible by the generous donation of a beautifully renovated facility by a young couple from the community inspired to make a difference. The centre provides a high-quality edu-care facility for vulnerable children in the community, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for uninterrupted learning. With the continued support of our gracious donors, Grace Kids aims to lay a strong foundation for these young lives, empowering them for a brighter future. At this stage, most of the children come from the most vulnerable communities.

Nutritional Aid

Since 2011, The Grace Trust has served as a beacon of support in the Breede Valley community through its Nutritional Aid Project, offering vital relief to underprivileged families. With access to long-term agricultural land, the project ensures a steady supply of fresh produce. Each year, between 14 and 35 families benefit from this initiative, receiving parcels filled with staple foods and basic necessities to help alleviate food insecurity. Families are supported on a rotational basis, based on their immediate needs.

This project not only addresses immediate needs but also reflects the heart of The Grace Trust’s mission – fostering compassion, dignity, and hope within the community. Through consistent efforts, they are making a meaningful impact, one parcel at a time.

Recycling Initiative

Through the Grace Trust’s innovative recycling project, children in the community play an active role in keeping their environment clean while learning the value of sustainability. By participating in regular cleanup drives, these young changemakers collect recyclable materials, which they can exchange at the Swop Shop for essential items such as food, toiletries, and school supplies.

This initiative not only promotes environmental responsibility but also empowers the youth by fostering a sense of achievement and community pride. Together, we’re building cleaner spaces and brighter futures—one recyclable at a time.
